Mr. Gong received his BSEE from Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering, China, in 1998, his MSEE from Michigan Technological University in 2002, and his PhD in electrical engineering from Mississippi State University in 2005. He is currently working as a lead research engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc., in Pullman, Washington. He is a senior member of IEEE and a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington.
