Mill City Tour
Monday, April 16, 2012
8:00am - 4:00pm

This tour provides a great overview of Milwaukee highlighting the
city's history, as well as current progress and ethnic neighborhoods,
showing the impact the European immigrants had on the city. We'll visit
architectural marvels such as the Basilica of St Josaphat, built by
Polish immigrants in 1901, and the Milwaukee Art Museum with its
spectacular designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava
in 2001 providing a stunning view on Lake Michigan. Along the lakeshore we’ll see
the beautiful historic homes in the North Shore and enjoy lunch at Lake Park Bistro
with gorgeous views of the Lake.
Of course, we're in "Brew City" so we'll learn about the beer
barons, visit the Flemish Renaissance mansion of Captain Frederick
Pabst as well as his office and Blue Ribbon Hall in Best Place at
Historic Pabst Brewery. There’s sure to be a cold beer on tap.
Additional Milwaukee treats will be provided along the way!
Fee: $70/person includes Step-On Guide, admission or donation fees,
lunch and other food stops, taxes and gratuities.
