He has spent over 15 years in the engineering and operations departments at Buckeye Rural.
For Buckeye Rural, Mr. Tackett has played a major role in advancing the Coop technologically including implementing the Turtle AMR program, electronic maps, and an automated staking program. Jeff managed the construction of new substations as well as the rebuild of others. And he worked with FEMA representatives to acquire millions of dollars after an ice storm disturbed much of the utility’s plant.
Mr. Tackett worked for 15 years at American Electric Power before heading to Buckeye Rural. While with AEP, he acquired a great deal of experience with utility design, load studies, and protection and planning responsibilities. Jeff quickly worked his way up to senior and supervisory positions. |
